BCI Burke is ISO 14001 certified and maintain high standards for recycled content. We also recycle the materials used in our manufacturing processes. For example, in 2009 we recycled approximately 19 tons of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and 179 tons of metal. At our headquarters in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, we purchase enough energy from wind and other renewable resources to offset 12 percent of our electrical usage and have reduced our overall energy consumption by 16 percent through efficiency measures.
