Playground veteran Aaron Vicars has reached an agreement to represent BCI Burke playgrounds in Kentucky and Tennessee.
Vicars, a 17-year veteran of Vicars Recreation products, has previously represented other playground lines in Tennessee but has formed a new firm, Burke Playgrounds of Kentucky and Tennessee, to market Burke’s products.
“I’m really excited to be representing BCI Burke because their philosophy and way of doing business matches mine. I don’t think anybody can match Burke’s quality or service. They have the industry’s best warranty and best track record for on-time and complete deliveries,” said Vicars.
Brian Johnson, director of sales and marketing for Burke, said Vicars will market BCI Burke’s full line of products, including its popular fitness-oriented Intensity® playground.

They will be available to arrange for surfacing, installation and a wide range of complementary products,” said Johnson.
The timing is also perfect because of a major product announcement planned for the fall.
“They’re keeping this close to the vest, but it will be Burke’s biggest product announcement in years. It will provide new levels of flexibility in the design of high-end playgrounds for schools, parks and other venues,” he said.
