With all the news about companies outsourcing their manufacturing to overseas factories, we think it’s more important than ever to reaffirm our commitment to American labor and materials. That’s why Burke playgrounds are manufactured right here in Fond du Lac, WI. We’re proud to be located in America’s heartland, and we believe that keeping our manufacturing here is the right thing to do:

• Right for our workers. We have skilled employees who have devoted their entire careers to the work of creating great playgrounds for our customers. We think it’s short-sighted to displace them in favor of cheaper overseas labor. We also extend this philosophy to the employees of suppliers by seeking to obtain the overwhelming majority of our parts and materials from American firms that also keep their manufacturing domestic.
   
• Right for the economy. America’s trade deficit is a serious issue, and we’d rather be part of the solution than part of the problem.
   
• Right for our customers. We believe the best way to ensure the quality of our playgrounds is to manufacture them, using materials from American manufacturers.*

•All products are assembled in the USA and meet the FTC’S standard of “all or virtually all” significant parts and processing to state that our products are “Made in USA”.  A couple of raw materials are made outside of the USA – ropes from Lithuania, rope ferrules from Sweden, rock hand holds from Canada and some miscellaneous hardware from Asia.
