FOND DU LAC, WI – BCI Burke has announced new agreements to market the firm’s playgrounds in Utah, Idaho, Montana and Virginia, and the firm is actively seeking representatives abroad for international expansion.
“This is an exciting time for Burke. Our fitness-oriented Intensity® play fitness complex is really changing the industry, and we’ve seen substantial international interest in our products,” said Tim Ahern, chief executive officer of the company.
Intermountain Recreation, headquartered in Sandy, Utah, will market Burke playgrounds in Utah, Idaho and Montana. Custom Sports and Recreation will market Burke products in Virginia.
“While our playgrounds have been available in these states, we have not had a representative actively marketing there. Both of these firms are experienced playground specialists, and each carries lines of safety surfacing and other products that complement Burke playgrounds,” said Ahern.
Internationally, the company is seeking representatives in Europe, Asia, Australia and other areas around the globe.
“Even with minimal marketing outside the United States, the reception to Burke playgrounds has been encouraging, and we believe the opportunities abroad are virtually limitless,” said Ahern.
