BCI Burke and NRPA Celebrate National Park and Recreation Month

BCI Burke is excited to join NRPA, the National Recreation and Park Association, in celebrating Park and Recreation Month this July.

Each July since 1985, America has celebrated Park and Recreation Month.  This year’s theme is Celebrate, Advocate, Recreate!  Park and recreation agencies and citizens are encouraged to plan special events and initiatives that remind local decision makers and the community of the exciting and vital role that parks and recreation play in the lives of Americans. 

As a member of NRPA, Burke is encouraging participation in Park and Recreation Month events and supports NRPA’s mission to advance parks, recreation and environmental conservation efforts. BCI Burke will also be an exhibitor at the upcoming NRPA 2010 Congress & Expo October 26-28 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
