FOND DU LAC, Wis. Feb. 16, 2009 – Attendees at the upcoming Texas Recreation and Parks Society trade show will have a chance to learn about the growing importance of childhood fitness and the role that BCI Burke’s fitness-oriented Intensity® playground can play in supporting fitness goals.

The company will also offer prizes – including a KidForce Spinner – and provide information on its full line of playgrounds and related products.

BCI Burke’s Intensity playground, which is now being marketed worldwide, has quickly been recognized among teachers and fitness professionals because it is designed to promote strength and endurance as children simply enjoy the various devices and activities during recess periods and park visits.

Burke has even developed an Intensity Curriculum to help teachers, playground supervisors and others organize activities to maximize the fitness benefits. TRAPS attendees will have an opportunity to view the curriculum to learn more about Intensity’s role in organized fitness programs.
