The all new Comet is the latest addition to Burke’s innovative line of spinning events. It challenges children ages 5–12 to utilize their strength, balance and coordination. It can be used by a single child or by a group of children for maximum play ability. The motion of the Comet is created by the children’s strength as it is mounted on an angle to provide interaction with the force of gravity. Children can sit or stand on the outside or inside of the comet. It is a great addition to any playground and is available as a freestanding basic or for Burke’s Intensity® fitness play complex and available in two configurations.
Features:
Comet is a one piece all welded construction consisting of formed 1.660” OD x 12 GA and 1.315” OD x 12 GA galvanized steel tubing and 8 GA galvanized steel plate.
Anchor is a one piece all welded construction consisting of 5” OD x 7 GA tubing with 2 ¾” diameter shaft.
Cover is constructed from ¾” extruded HDPE.
The Comet ships standard with a NEW Black Hamertone powder coating and Black HDPE base!
Can be used by an individual child or as many as 6 children.
Available as a freestanding basic or Intensity with 2 configurations.
